Role: Responsible for providing professional, technical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Collaborates with team members to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality through the nursing process. Supervises and directs assigned staff, supports educational efforts, and maintains effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
Responsibilities include: Building collaborative relationships, promoting a safe environment, ensuring timely documentation, administering medications and IV therapy, and contributing to continuous improvement of patient experience. Demonstrates accountability, initiative, and commitment to professional growth and team development.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), valid RN license in Texas, Basic Life Support certification, and minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards is essential.
