Registered Nurse - Full Time - Intermediate Care Unit

Role: The Staff Nurse provides professional, technical nursing care within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate care according to standards. They communicate effectively, build relationships, and promote a safe, therapeutic environment while ensuring accurate documentation and medication administration. The nurse supervises team members, supports professional growth, and adheres to hospital policies to improve patient experiences.

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Current nursing license in Texas
• Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required
• Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a technically demanding environment
  
  

Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintain accurate communication; ensure safety and quality in medication administration; foster professional development; and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Other duties include patient education and adherence to safety standards.
