Radiologic Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves performing radiology procedures, including body mechanics and patient movement, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The technician operates diagnostic imaging equipment, develops films, prepares exam rooms, and assists with Medical Assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and communicating with patients effectively
• Providing solutions and recognizing emergent situations
• Assisting with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision
• Documenting patient information, vital signs, and medical history accurately
• Preparing patients for radiologic exams, ensuring safety, and following regulatory standards
• Performing quality control on equipment and reporting malfunctions
• Maintaining and updating licensure, certification, and skills in diagnostic imaging
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• TN State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous
