Med Surg RN

Position Overview: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a surgical unit, collaborating with the care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and a great patient experience. Follow established nursing models, assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care thoroughly. Act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers by educating them about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.

Responsibilities Include

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, promptly reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitor responses, and document care accurately.
• Respond to patient needs proactively and resolve issues promptly.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding of medical information.
  
  

Qualifications

• RN license with at least 1 year of experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Associate Degree required; Bachelors Degree to be obtained within 2 years.
