Key Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing skills to deliver safe, confidential patient care.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
- Float across multiple hospital facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical units.
- High school diploma or GED; licensed as an LPN in the practicing state.
- Recent bedside experience: 1 year for Med Surg, 2 years for specialized units.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred depending on department; IV certification mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
