Senior Licensed Practical Nurse
Role & Responsibilities
Provide quality care to veteran residents, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being in accordance with agency standards and Nurse Practice Act.
Perform duties such as administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident conditions, and documenting clinical information accurately.
Supervise CNAs and supportive care staff to maintain high standards of care.
Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including ceiling lift systems and PPE, in a modern, smoke-free facility.
Participate in programs like the Weekend Warrior and Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness, with potential loan repayment benefits.
Qualifications & Skills
Must hold a valid Practical Nurse license in Florida and BLS/CPR certification.
Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Effective Communication Skills In English And Strong Interpersonal Abilities.
Successful background check and drug screening required.
Preferred Experience
One year in long-term care or skilled nursing environments.
Experience with medication administration, Electronic Medical Records, and computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
