Role Description This full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role is based in Englewood, CO. The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in district buildings to ensure safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient learning environments. Daily tasks include inspecting and servicing heating and cooling equipment, performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing system issues, and completing timely repairs. The role involves working with controls, electrical components, and related mechanical systems, as well as coordinating with building staff and other maintenance professionals. The technician is expected to follow district safety procedures, maintain accurate service records, and respond to work orders and emergencies as needed.

Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems and related mechanical components.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs, including routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of heating and cooling equipment.
- Knowledge of electricity as it applies to HVAC systems, including reading wiring diagrams and safely working with electrical components.
- Basic plumbing skills related to HVAC systems, such as working with condensate lines, boilers, and related piping.
- Current or obtainable EPA certification for handling and recovering refrigerants in compliance with regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC technical program, apprenticeship, or comparable work experience preferred.
- Ability to use HVAC tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively, and to follow all district safety and environmental standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse staff and vendors, and to manage multiple work orders efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between district sites as required.
