Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa is hiring a Dual Rate Poker Dealer not only deals cards with precision and professionalism but also supervises the work of other dealers, manages poker room operations, and ensures compliance with established rules. This position requires a blend of hands-on dealing experience and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Deal cards at the poker table with precise counts and payouts.
- Create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for guests.
- Direct and supervise the work of poker dealers.
- Provide input towards staffing, performance appraisals, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Supervise the opening and closing procedures of the poker room.
- Maintain inspection of decks, ensuring the security of table games at all times.
- Oversee all action in the poker room and report any irregular play to Poker Management.
- Assist guests in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures and report any safety hazards to the Table Games Manager.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience dealing cards in a casino poker environment.
- Ability to maintain a close working relationship with co-workers and management.
- Ability to lead and guide other employees.
- Ability to provide and maintain a high standard of guest service at all times.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of training in CNE Gaming Academy.
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with constant exposure to smoke and loud noise.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry 10 lbs.
