Position Summary
We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate Educational Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with schools, case managers, and program staff to ensure each youth’s educational plan is being followed. You will advocate for our students, track their academic progress, and make sure they receive the resources and support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact between Chenault Youth Services and local schools or educational programs
- Monitor student attendance, grades, and classroom performance
- Provide academic support and coordinate tutoring or GED services
- Attend IEP and academic planning meetings as needed
- Support youth in developing study habits, goal-setting skills, and personal accountability
- Communicate regularly with caseworkers, school staff, and parents/guardians about progress and concerns
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with agency and DFCS standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience working with youth in an educational or residential setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping youth succeed

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30 hours/week)
- Some flexibility may be required for school meetings or special events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
