We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Activities Director to lead and enhance the recreational and social programs for our residents. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee engaging activity programs tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Assess residents' needs and preferences to create personalized activity plans.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure activities are inclusive and accessible for all residents.
- Organize special events, outings, and celebrations that foster community spirit.
- Maintain accurate records of participation and feedback to continually improve programming.
- Provide training and support to staff in facilitating activities that enhance resident engagement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, or senior care as and Activity Director.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and memory care programming is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with residents, families, and staff members.
- A compassionate approach towards caregiving and a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of seniors.
