Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or casual restaurant setting. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred. A strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures is essential to maintain our high standards of service. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Manage guest inquiries efficiently, providing excellent guest relations and resolving issues promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures
• Support opening or closing duties as needed, including setup and sanitation tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, including fine dining or nightclub environments, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the guest experience
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or bussing experience is advantageous
• Professional appearance and positive attitude; team-oriented mindset

Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 per hour
