Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist or SLPA to join our team for a 4 day work week M-TH. We are looking for a SLP that loves what he or she does and wants to be fairly compensated In this role, you will work with individuals of ages 0-16, particularly focusing on pediatrics, to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your patients through effective therapy interventions and early intervention strategies. We are open Monday-Thursdays and have so many sweet families ready to have you join their team We are willing to work around your schedule, depending on how many hours and what hours you want to work With full time hours you are guaranteed between 1-2 hours paid paperwork time as well daily.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals in school settings to support students' speech and language development.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of therapy sessions.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language.
- Experience in providing speech therapy services, particularly in a school or pediatric setting.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with communication challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- A valid license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
