About the Role
As a Dental Assistant with Alluvion Health, you will play a hands-on role in helping patients feel welcomed, supported, and informed throughout their visit. You’ll assist providers during procedures, prepare treatment areas, take radiographs, and help patients understand their oral health—ensuring every patient leaves with a healthier smile.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during exams, restorations, surgeries, and preventive procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms; sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
- Perform clinical assisting tasks within your scope (rubber dams, topical agents, suture removal, etc.)
- Maintain inventory and manage supply orders
- Follow all infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Support front desk staff as needed with check-ins and phone calls
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience or completion of a Dental Assistant program required
- Current Montana dental radiography certification preferred
- Valid Montana driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and excellent patient-care skills
- Ability to work well within a collaborative, team-based environment
