Requirements
Experience: 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry. Financial experience is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to accurately prepare and analyze financial reports.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and solve financial challenges promptly.
Organization: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Integrity: High level of ethics and integrity in managing financial information and sensitive data.
Responsibilities
- Financial Records Maintenance: Accurately maintain and reconcile all financial records and transactions for the agency.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoices, process payments, and track incoming funds, ensuring all accounts are up to date.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to aid in strategic planning.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local and federal laws related to financial transactions and record keeping.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements, for the agency's management team.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and agency financial records.
