What are the responsibilities and job description for the Premium Hospitality Assistant position at Chattanooga Lookouts?
The Premium Hospitality Assistant will report directly to the Food and Beverage Department. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in all aspects of Food and Beverage operations for all baseball games and special events (non-baseball games) at Erlanger Park.
- Assist in managing all premium hospitality areas for all Lookouts home games.
- Assist in creating invoices for suite catering orders and send to proper contact daily.
- Help manage hospitality areas including party decks and private group areas.
- Assist in managing a staff of approximately 75 seasonal staff members.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure that event specifications are communicated and executed for a successful experience for all the guests.
- Collaborate with Food and Beverage Department in hiring, firing, directing, training, and supervising all direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
- Communicate effectively with guests, all levels of management and co-workers.
- Ensure all workstations, storerooms, bar, host stand, decks and dining areas remain clean, sanitized, safe and sufficiently stocked.
- Demonstrate initiative and perform all activities as the business deems necessary.
- Maintain ballpark standards and cleanliness.
- Make outbound sales calls.
- Pull tarp.
- Other duties as assigned.
The applicant should be a self-motivator who thrives in a team environment; possesses good analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to work effectively with attention to detail in a high-volume sales environment; ability to communicate clearly and resolve guest conflicts; goal oriented; quick learner; proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
The Premium Hospitality Assistant may be asked to attend community events such as school visits. The candidate will also be required to be knowledgeable about the happenings of the Lookouts’ season and well versed in Chattanooga Lookouts’ history.
Salary: $1,200 per month
