Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and applications using PHP, adhering to WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and best security practices.
- Collaborate with Learning Engineers, Technical Writers, and Subject Matter Experts to implement features for LMS integrations, interactive training modules, and secure data handling.
- Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and QA to ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.
- Contribute to secure integration of advanced features, including AI capabilities using local or secure LLM technologies in high-security environments.
- Develop or extend mobile applications for Android using Android Studio and Capacitor (experience required or willingness to learn).
- Participate in project planning, light project management, and creative sessions.
- Proven experience in PHP development with deep understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and security best practices (e.g., input validation, nonce usage, secure authentication).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies for responsive design.
- Experience creating great UI/UX with Esri's Calcite Design System (calcite-design-system).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in small teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience or willingness to learn Android mobile app development using Android Studio and Capacitor.
- Experience or desire to learn and implement local/secure LLM technologies for AI-enhanced features in compliance-sensitive environments.
- Experience with LMS platforms like LearnDash and Moodle.
- Familiarity with xAPI/SCORM technologies such as Grassblade LRS.
- Knowledge of data management tools like PODS.
- Proficiency with source code control (e.g., AWS CodeCommit or Git) and IDEs like PHPStorm.
- Experience with LOCAL or similar environments for testing and debugging.
- Background in high-compliance or regulated industries (e.g., defense, government, DoD-related projects).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
- Able to work in-person in our Draper, UT office.
- All positions work in-person at our office in Draper, UT but may work from home on Fridays when appropriate.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
