Role Summary:
Looking for a Voice Assistant Test Specialist to support testing and validation of in-vehicle voice assistant systems. This role focuses on ensuring accurate voice recognition, system responses, and overall performance, particularly for Portuguese-language interactions.
You’ll work in both lab and vehicle environments, contributing to real-world testing of next-generation automotive voice technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute voice command testing in Portuguese to validate system accuracy
- Support English voice testing when required
- Translate voice commands from English → Portuguese for testing scenarios
- Test voice assistant behavior in lab setups and in-vehicle environments
- Identify, document, and track defects and system issues
- Verify bug fixes and system improvements
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system performance
- Assist in maintaining test documentation and reports
- Support software/configuration updates on test vehicles
Typical Work Breakdown
- 60% – Voice assistant testing
- 15% – Translating test cases
- 15% – Defect documentation
- 10% – Meetings (team, manager, engineering syncs)
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken & written)
