Position Title: Manufacturing Engineer III
Location: Lafayette, IN
Work Arrangement: On-Site, Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Compensation: $78K annual, No OT
Position Overview
My client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer III to support new capital projects and manufacturing process development at the Lafayette facility. This role focuses on supporting the introduction of new machining assets and ensuring seamless integration into production through robust documentation, validation, and process optimization.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to New Capital Introduction (NCI) processes, advanced manufacturing technologies, and large-scale production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support new capital equipment introduction, including preparation, validation, and process readiness.
- Develop and maintain planned method documentation, work instructions, and quality check procedures.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Project Engineers to optimize production processes and workflows.
- Review and interpret technical documentation and engineering requirements.
- Provide engineering support to current production and new asset implementation activities.
- Assist in process improvements, data analysis, and root cause investigations as needed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in both office and shop floor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering and process development.
- Experience working in a shop floor or production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
- Ability to review and interpret technical and engineering documentation.
- Experience with project management and capital project execution.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
