Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Service Technician to support the testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of electronic test equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, performance, and reliability of a broad range of precision instruments used in engineering, manufacturing, telecommunications, aerospace, defense, and other technical fields.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced with electronic instrumentation, including calibration and troubleshooting. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality service delivery while working in a dynamic, technical environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic test equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service notes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office tools.
- Ability to multitask, manage resources effectively, and work with clear operational objectives.
- Experience working safely with high-voltage and high-current instruments.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement instruments.
- Experience with automated calibration software (e.g., METCAL, TME, STE, PC-based calibration platforms).
- PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) or U.S. Military metrology training.
- Relevant technical degree or certification in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities
Equipment Support & Repair
- Perform functional testing, calibration, troubleshooting, assembly, and disassembly of electronic test equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment meets performance specifications.
Technical Expertise & Collaboration
- Apply solid electronics knowledge to support internal teams and external customers with effective service solutions.
- Collaborate with field service teams, engineers, and customer representatives to ensure successful outcomes.
Documentation & Quality
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all service activities.
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards, safety procedures, ESD guidelines, and best practices.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Provide insights and innovative recommendations to improve service quality and efficiency.
