Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential/Light Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and small commercial properties. You will work as part of a team to ensure the comfort and safety of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are working correctly and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Keep vehicle inventory to ensure necessary parts are stocked
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential HVAC Technician
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants, preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in crawlspaces and adaptable to heights as necessary for equipment installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HVAC service repair/maintenance highly preferred
- NATE certification or completed apprenticeship program
- Experience with ductwork installation and repair
- Familiarity with a variety of HVAC systems and brands
