Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within construction and industrial environments. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical installations
- Perform basic troubleshooting using testing equipment such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to electrical work, including working around construction sites and high-voltage systems
Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters
- Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is preferred
- Experience or interest in industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus
- Ability to read technical diagrams including schematics for wiring and system layouts
- Construction site experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments
