Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure to ensure efficient data flow and processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Ensure data governance and quality standards are met, utilizing tools like Collibra
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architecture, and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering are preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies
- Mandatory skills include Azure Data Engineering experience, programming knowledge in Python or Java, and proficiency in Snowflake
- Familiarity with Spark and Linux management is essential
- This position requires 3 days onsite in NYC and allows for remote work for the remaining days.
