Cybersecurity Engineer – Security Infrastructure & Automation Lead
📍 Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) | ⏳ Long-Term Contract
We’re hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security infrastructure, automation, and platform integrations across enterprise IT/OT environments. This role drives security tool engineering, workflow automation, and compliance alignment for a mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead deployment & optimization of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Vulnerability Mgmt, DLP, IAM, Cloud Security tools.
- Build automation workflows & integrations (APIs, Python, PowerShell) to improve detection & response.
- Develop architecture diagrams, documentation, and compliance mappings (NIST 800‑53/82, TSA SD 1582/21).
- Support projects such as OT segmentation, cloud modernization, firewall redesign, and asset discovery.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in a related field 6 years enterprise security engineering experience.
- 2 years leading automation or platform integration work.
- Preferred certs: CISSP, GCSA, GSEC, Azure Security.
- Experience with Splunk, Sentinel, XSOAR, Rapid7, Tenable, Qualys, ICS/SCADA, or TSA/DHS/CISA frameworks.
Skills
- Security automation, scripting, cross‑platform engineering
- Strong documentation, architecture, and communication abilities
Other Details
- Hybrid role with significant onsite presence.
- After-hours support for changes/incidents.
- Must qualify for DHS Public Trust.
