Charon Shared Services is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to oversee maintenance operations and provide essential administrative support. This role ensures our facility remains compliant, safe, and efficient for patients and staff alike.
🕒 Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Status: Full-Time (80 hours per two-week pay period)
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Organize and schedule all facility maintenance, including fire and life safety drills and regulatory testing required by Federal, State, and local authorities.
- Contractor Liaison: Coordinate scheduled Environmental Services (EVS) routines across PSS, CSS, ESA, and SDA departments, serving as the primary point of contact for external contractors.
- Data Management: Document all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and proactively resolve any identified issues.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain all records, policies, and procedures to ensure 100% compliance with CMS standards for emergency management, life safety, and the Environment of Care (EOC).
- Project Documentation: Manage documentation for all construction, renovation, and maintenance projects to meet the standards of all governing jurisdictions
🎓 Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree (preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years of office support or project management experience.
- Expertise: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Licensure: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
