Role Description
This full-time Senior Civil Engineer role is an on-site position based in Annapolis, MD. The Senior Civil Engineer will lead and manage civil engineering projects, including designing, planning, and implementing solutions for land development, stormwater management, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing engineering designs, providing technical guidance to team members, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring timely project completion. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Expertise in Civil Engineering Design and a strong understanding of Civil Engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Stormwater Management and Planning to create sustainable solutions.
- Experience leading and mentoring Civil Engineers and project teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools and familiarity with state and local regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; a professional engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Previous experience in large-scale land development projects and working knowledge of environmental engineering concepts are advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
