The Ecommerce Merchandiser is responsible for maximising online sales, sell-through and inventory efficiency across the US market.
The role owns range planning, forecasting and in-season trading actions, ensuring the online assortment is commercially strong, locally relevant and aligned with demand, while proactively managing stock risks and opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
Range Planning & Forecasting
- Plan and manage OTB at regional level.
- Work closely with Buyers to plan and forecast seasonal buys.
- Ensure assortments align with customer demand, online behaviour and commercial targets.
Pre-Season Execution
- Support launch planning, allocation and pricing for new seasons.
- Contribute to range planning and seasonal readiness for online channels.
- Ensure availability for peak trading moments.
In-Season Trading & Stock Risk Management
- Monitor sales, stock levels, sell-through and markdown performance.
- Execute tactical actions to hit sales targets and optimise closing stock.
- Manage repeat orders, consolidations and markdown strategies.
- Proactively flag stock risks and opportunities, especially for online-driven demand.
Business Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide analysis to support trading and performance decisions.
- Work closely with Business Performance, Marketing, Ops and Franchise partners.
- Understand market-specific nuances and competitive landscape.
Process & System Improvement
- Participate in initiatives to improve tools, systems and productivity.
- Support projects aimed at increasing trading efficiency and accuracy.
