Supervisory Responsibilities
- None.
- Set up and run a coil metal de-coiler.
- Set up and run a material feeder/straightener.
- Set up and run an Open Back Inclinable (OBI) stamping press with various progressive stamping dies.
- Set up and run deburring/tumbling equipment.
- Operate other equipment associated with metal stamping production needs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to apply fractions, addition, subtraction, division and decimals, and common fractions in all units of measure.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment and mechanical equipment and tools.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Efficient time management skills.
- A high school diploma or general education (GED) is required.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Understand and have the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Forklift certification.

- The employee regularly works near moving, vibrating mechanical equipment, occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and exposed to minimal risk of electrical shock.
