Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, optimizing seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about menu items and specials, assisting guests with their dining choices.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience for all.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems such as SPOT ON POS for efficient order processing when necessary.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when managing reservations or inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with restaurant operations.
- Strong customer service skills that shine through in every interaction with guests.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both guests and team members. .
- Background in hospitality or hotel services is advantageous, contributing to your understanding of guest relations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A passion for serving others and creating memorable experiences for guests.
