The BCBA will provide clinical oversight for ABA services, including assessment, treatment planning, supervision, and caregiver collaboration. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy while ensuring high standards of care and ethical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Design and supervise skill acquisition programs
- Administer standardized assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK)
- Supervise and mentor Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Analyze data and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Provide parent and caregiver training
- Collaborate with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with BACB ethical and clinical standards
- Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Active Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience providing ABA therapy for children with autism
- Experience conducting FBAs and developing treatment plans
- Experience supervising RBTs or Behavior Technicians
