What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Physical Therapist position at Change The Game Performance Therapy?
Practice Physical Therapy Where Rehabilitation Leads to Performance
Most Physical Therapy clinics help patients reduce pain and return to daily life.
At Change the Game Performance, that is only part of the journey.
We believe successful rehabilitation means helping people return to the activities that matter most—whether that's competing at a high level, playing another round of golf, crossing the finish line of a marathon, or simply staying active and doing what they love for years to come.
Our Physical Therapists work alongside Sports Performance Coaches to help patients progress from rehabilitation into strength, movement, and higher-level performance. Rather than discharging patients as soon as symptoms improve, we prepare them for the demands of their sport, activity, or lifestyle.
You will provide 40-minute, one-on-one treatment sessions for athletes, active adults, runners, golfers, weightlifters, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgery.
Every patient receives individualized care, objective testing, and a plan designed to help them return stronger, move better, and perform with confidence.
You will also use advanced assessment and performance technology, including VALD ForceDecks, VALD Dynamo, speed gates, gait analysis, and return-to-play testing systems, to measure progress, improve patient confidence, and guide more informed clinical decisions.
We're building an organization where exceptional Sports Physical Therapists can grow their entire career—from clinician to mentor, leader, and beyond—as Change the Game Performance continues to expand.
Whether you are an experienced Sports Physical Therapist or a motivated new graduate, you will have the opportunity to grow in a true rehabilitation-to-performance environment.

- Competitive youth athletes

Advanced Technology. Better Decisions. Better Outcomes.
We believe great clinicians combine experience, clinical reasoning, and objective data to deliver exceptional care.
Our providers utilize advanced assessment and rehabilitation technology—including force plate testing, handheld dynamometry, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training, movement analysis, return-to-play testing, speed and power assessments, and other performance technologies—to guide clinical decisions throughout the rehabilitation process.
Rather than relying solely on observation, you'll have measurable data that helps identify deficits, monitor progress, improve patient confidence, and make informed return-to-sport decisions.
Rehabilitation Doesn't End at Discharge
At Change the Game Performance, we don't believe the finish line is when Physical Therapy ends.
Our goal is to help patients return to the highest level of performance possible.
Throughout rehabilitation, our Physical Therapists collaborate closely with our Sports Performance team to determine when an athlete or active adult is ready to transition from rehabilitation into structured performance training.
Instead of graduating patients away from our organization, we help many of them graduate into Sports Performance, allowing them to continue building strength, resilience, confidence, and long-term athletic success.
This collaborative model creates better outcomes for our patients while giving our clinicians the opportunity to remain involved throughout the entire rehabilitation-to-performance journey.
True One-on-One Patient Care
You will treat patients individually through dedicated 40-minute appointments.
We intentionally avoid the high-volume, double-booked model commonly found in traditional outpatient clinics.
This allows you to:
- Build stronger relationships with your patients
- Complete thorough evaluations
- Think critically about complex cases
- Adjust treatment based on patient response
- Provide hands-on, individualized care
- Educate patients without feeling rushed
- Create better clinical outcomes
- Enjoy your work without constantly managing multiple patients at once
Your Role
As a Physical Therapist at Change the Game Performance, you will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, sports-related, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
- Reviewing medical history, movement patterns, strength, mobility, and functional limitations
- Developing individualized plans of care based on each patient’s goals
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and movement-based interventions
- Helping patients progress from rehabilitation into higher-level strength, performance, and return-to-sport activities
- Monitoring objective progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and families on recovery, injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
- Clearly explaining the rehabilitation process and what patients can expect during care
- Helping patients understand the importance of active participation, consistent attendance, and personal accountability
- Setting clear expectations early and reinforcing them throughout the plan of care
- Confidently guiding prospective patients through the care-planning and enrollment process
- Documenting evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical information accurately and on time
- Collaborating with Physical Therapists, performance coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in case discussions, return-to-sport planning, mentorship, and shared learning
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards
- Continuing to develop your clinical knowledge through mentorship, research, and continuing education
