About Us
The CASY Early Learning Center is a new, high-quality early childhood program serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. As part of Chances and Services for Youth (CASY), we are committed to supporting children and families through strong relationships, play-based learning, and meaningful community impact.
Position Overview
We are seeking caring and dependable teachers to support the daily care and education of children in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment.
Teachers work as part of a team to implement curriculum, support children’s development, and build positive relationships with families.
Start Date:
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being
- Support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Lead or assist with developmentally appropriate activities
- Use positive guidance strategies to support behavior
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Assist with daily routines (meals, diapering, toileting, rest time)
- Communicate with families about their child’s day
- Follow all licensing and health and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working with children (infant, toddler, or preschool preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required
- CDA, Early Childhood Associates or early childhood coursework preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet state licensing requirements and pass background checks
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
