What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-K Teacher - Early Childhood Eduction position at Champaign County Regional Planning Commission?
Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is seeking Early Childhood Education Teachers to join our team. Champaign County RPC is a people-focused agency made up of over 100 programs designed to generate possibilities for all within our community. Responsible for managing the classroom and carrying out a developmentally appropriate educational program to meet the individual needs of each child and Illinois Early Learning Standards. The Pre-K teacher position is contingent on Illinois Early Childhood Block Grant funding.
- Ability to fulfill all DCFS requirements, including a physical and criminal background check
- Illinois Early Childhood Professional Educator License (EC PEL)
- Experience with preschool children preferred
- Ability to lift children
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Ability to practice civility at all times.
Status: Full-Time/Year-Round/52 Weeks
Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., M-F
Starting Hourly Wage:
$31.22 - $32.24 (BA/CERT)
$32.76 - $33.78 (MA)
DOQ (Depending On Qualifications)
