Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, utilizing the Toast POS system.
- Communicate with guests regarding wait times and special requests, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering strong guest relations.
- Provide support during busy periods by assisting with seating and managing guest flow.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests are essential for success in this role.
