A Comprehensive Overview
CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.
The Groundskeeper will be responsible for general grounds maintenance inside a detention facility. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with on-call availability for emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds surrounding the facility, including removal of trash and debris.
- Cut grass, trim, and mow using appropriate grounds-keeping equipment.
- Apply weed killer around the fence line of the facility.
- Assist in the performance of general maintenance duties within the facility as required during off-season and inclement weather.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 1-3 years of grounds-keeping or landscaping experience
- Knowledge and ability to safely operate equipment and basic repair and maintenance of grounds-keeping equipment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to pass a thorough background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test
- Valid state driver's license required
