CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.
A Brief Overview
The Groundskeeper will be responsible for grass cutting, trimming, debris removal, and general grounds maintenance inside a detention facility. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, but requires on-call availability for emergency situations.
What you will do
- Manages the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds surrounding the facility, including the removal of trash and debris.
- Cuts, trims, and mows grass using appropriate grounds keeping equipment.
- Applies weed killer around fence line of the facility.
- Assists in the performance of general maintenance duties within the facility, as required, during off-season and inclement weather.
- This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of grounds keeping or landscaping experience preferred.
- Requires the knowledge and ability to safely operate equipment and basic repair and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State required.
Compensation
We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $16.25 to $18.75, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer.
