- Oversee and deliver tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, trusts/estates, and closely held businesses.
- Lead and grow the tax team: supervise senior staff and associates, help with staffing, work-review, training and professional development.
- Work directly with clients as the Tax Manager to identify tax-saving opportunities, proactive planning strategies, and workflow efficiencies.
- Take ownership of tax engagements: planning and executing work, managing deadlines, coordinating with advisors, and ensuring quality control.
- Serve as the Tax Manager liaison with other service teams (wealth management, estate planning, etc.) to provide integrated client solutions.
- Assist the leadership team with the business-development side of the tax practice: contributing to marketing efforts, building relationships, and helping set the vision for growth of the tax practice.
- Bachelor's in Accounting.
- CPA license preferred; 5 years of tax experience.
