- Manage and maintain tax exemption certificates, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Review, validate, and approve exemption documentation for customers and vendors
- Partner with internal teams (AP, AR, Sales) to ensure proper tax treatment on transactions
- Research and interpret sales and use tax laws, with an emphasis on exemption eligibility
- Support internal and external audits by gathering exemption documentation and responding to inquiries
- Track and manage certificate expirations, ensuring timely updates and renewals
- Assist with tax filings, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of tax or accounting experience, with hands-on tax exemption experience required
- Strong knowledge of sales and use tax regulations
- Experience handling exemption certificates in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
