As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with job costing and project-level financial tracking
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation
- Support audit preparation and provide required documentation
- Help maintain internal controls and accounting processes
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role
- Experience in construction or project-based accounting is a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Sage or similar preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities as a Staff Accountant
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
