- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Assist with tax planning, research, and consulting for a variety of clients.
- Collaborate with team members on complex engagements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate directly with clients to request information, explain tax matters, and resolve issues.
- Research technical tax issues and prepare supporting memoranda.
- Support managers with tax projections and year-end planning.
- Help train and guide junior staff accountants.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and deadlines.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. MST is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory services.
- Solid knowledge of individual and business tax concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
