What You’ll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple real estate development projects
- Track and analyze project costs, budgets, and variances
- Prepare and review monthly financials for active developments
- Maintain and monitor job cost reporting and project-level forecasting
- Partner with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
- Support draw requests, funding, and cash flow management
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners (developers, lenders, etc.)
- 5 years of accounting experience within real estate development or construction
- Strong understanding of job costing / project accounting
- Experience with development accounting (land, horizontal, or vertical projects)
- Familiarity with WIP / percentage of completion (POC) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Advanced Excel skills
