Senior Pricing Analyst

Senior Pricing Analyst Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing and operational data, market trends, and customer insights to develop pricing models and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies, via annual price reviews and updates and adjust based on customer feedback and internal KPIs.
• Conduct margin analysis, including price, mix, volume analysis and cost-to-serve evaluations to support pricing decisions. Collaborate cross functionally to support conclusions.
• Perform Return on Investment and “What If” scenario analysis for various investments around sales/customer initiatives.
• Develop and maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying efficiencies and providing reporting, specifically around inventory management.
• Support new product launches with pricing and scenario planning, including establishing rebate and penalty structures by developing a strong understanding of the Company’s overhead structure.
• Provide insights on customer segmentation and price elasticity to inform profit optimization strategies.
• Perform various month end close activities.
• Support interim and year end audit activities related to product costing.
• Other analysis and activities as assigned.
  
  

Senior Pricing Analyst Educations And Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5 years of pricing analysis experience, ideally in food or consumer goods.
• Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial modeling.
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
• Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with strong presentation skills.
• Organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
• ERP experience
• Knowledge of promotional pricing, trade spend analysis, and channel-specific strategies preferred.
