What You’ll Lead & Deliver
📌 Revenue Recognition & ASC 606 Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with ASC 606 across all SaaS subscription and usage‑based revenue streams
- Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment
- Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate monthly revenue reporting and forecasting
- Maintain and enhance revenue recognition policies, documentation, and controls
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles
- Build and refine financial models for ARR, churn, retention, and cohort analysis
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insights that drive performance improvements
- Partner with GTM, Product, and Leadership to optimize revenue and margin outcomes
- Prepare accurate, timely reporting packages for senior leadership
- Analyze SaaS KPIs (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, pipeline conversion, etc.) to identify trends
- Leverage data analytics tools to enhance visibility into financial performance
- Support system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency
- Work closely with Sales, Legal, and Accounting on contract review and deal structuring
- Provide guidance on pricing, discounting, and non‑standard terms to ensure ASC 606 compliance
- Support audit processes and ensure financial integrity across revenue operations
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in FP&A, revenue accounting, or financial analysis
- Deep understanding of ASC 606 (required)
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly
- Experience in a fast‑paced SaaS or subscription‑based environment
- Experience with SaaS metrics and subscription analytics
- Familiarity with financial systems, BI tools, or automation platforms
- Exposure to contract review, deal desk, or revenue operations
- Strong understanding of ARR, NRR, churn, and other SaaS KPIs
- High visibility with leadership and cross‑functional teams
- Ownership of revenue analytics in a subscription‑driven business
