Responsibilities
- Oversee international accounting operations across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions.
- Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for international entities.
- Manage global consolidation and intercompany transactions.
- Partner with Tax, Treasury, and FP\&A teams to optimize financial processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting systems and controls.
- Lead external and internal audits for international operations.
- Develop and implement global accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic guidance on complex accounting issues and new regulations.
- Responsible for accuracy of international financial statements impacting global revenue.
- Oversees accounting processes for multiple legal entities across diverse jurisdictions.
- Implements operational plans and ensures compliance with corporate governance.
- Operates with minimal supervision; expected to provide strategic leadership.
- Develops new processes for global compliance and efficiency.
- Resolves complex, ambiguous accounting challenges impacting multiple regions.
- Innovates in automation and system enhancements for international reporting.
- Regular interaction with global finance leadership, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Influences senior stakeholders and negotiates with external partners.
- Communicates across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Directly manages senior accounting managers and indirectly oversees regional teams.
- Provides coaching, training, and succession planning for international finance talent.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- 7 years experience in Accounting, with at least 3 years in managing/leading a team.
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
