We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to identify a Senior Cost Accountant. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you’ll own full-cycle accounting while partnering closely with operations. Senior Cost Accountant – Key Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Lead cost accounting processes, including inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Partner closely with operations to understand production costs and improve financial visibility
• Maintain and review general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Support financial reporting and provide insight into cost drivers and business performance
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls
• Assist with audit support and ongoing compliance requirements
  
  

Senior Cost Accountant – Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (flexible for strong, relevant experience)
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inventory, BOMs, and cost analysis
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to operate independently
• Eager attitude and interest in long-term growth
• Strong systems aptitude; ERP experience preferred
