Key Responsibilities – Senior Accountant
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support inventory accounting processes and help ensure inventory accuracy through analysis and cycle count reviews.
- Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs, inventory activity, and variances.
- Assist with product costing, standard costing, and new product introductions.
- Develop and improve costing processes, documentation, and reporting.
- Participate in annual budgeting and standard cost processes.
- Provide financial analysis and operational reporting to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong general ledger accounting and month-end close experience.
- Inventory accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Cost accounting experience is a plus but not required; this role offers the opportunity to develop those skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Deacom, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team environment.
