- The Senior Accountant will lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records
- Analyze financial results and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- The Senior Accountant will support financial reporting requirements and management reporting initiatives
- Assist with compliance related to government contracts and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure efficient financial operations
- The Senior Accountant will support external audits and provide documentation as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
