CFS has recently been retained by a manufacturing organization in Platteville that needs a Senior Accountant that focuses on the fixed assets and AR functions.
Senior Accountant Duties
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Ensure capital expenditures are properly documents, approved, and classified in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare fixed asset roll-forwards and related schedules for audits and financial reporting.
- Manage the full-cycle AR process
- Prepare and issues customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with month end close activities related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Bachelors in Accounting preferred
- Prior manufacturing and fixed assets knowledge
- 3 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge within Sage and Excel
