Key Responsibilities For Regional Sales Manager
- Client Engagement: Respond to inquiries from major manufacturers (e.g., consumer goods, building materials) initiating capital projects.
- Site Visits: Travel to customer locations across the U.S. and Canada
- Sales Process Management: Provide timely and accurate proposals, follow up on quotes, and guide clients through the decision-making process.
- Opportunity Development: Identify new business opportunities through trade show connections, inbound inquiries, and industry networking.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs and technical feasibility.
- 3 years of experience in capital equipment sales or industrial manufacturing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Engineering background highly preferred (mechanical or electrical)
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and equipment integration
- Ability to travel regularly for short-duration site visits
- Experience working with CAD teams and understanding technical drawings is a plus
