Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer-focused quality efforts by resolving external concerns and ensuring timely, effective communication
- Drive internal quality improvements through data analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action validation
- Enhance manufacturing performance by training teams, auditing processes, and supporting proactive planning activities
- Own fixed asset and property tax compliance while contributing to financial reporting and inventory analysis
- Collaborate across departments including Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality-related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills using tools like 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why
- Experience with quality systems, audits (IATF, internal, layered), and customer-specific requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis, metrology, blueprint reading, and statistical tools (SPC, Minitab)
- Excellent communication, time management, and cross-functional leadership abilities
