Key Responsibilities For Purchasing Manager
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage the full procurement cycle, from supplier identification and negotiation to contract management and performance evaluation.
- Source and maintain relationships with international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in purchasing/procurement, including leadership roles.
- Strong manufacturing industry experience.
- Proven international exposure in sourcing and supplier management.
- Hands-on experience managing procurement processes from top to bottom.
- Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
