- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or similar
- 3–5 years of accounting experience in a project-driven environment supporting large-scale, multi-phase projects
- Hands-on experience with job costing, WIP, and cost-based percentage-of-completion
- Experience with billing and accounts receivable tied to active projects
- Ability to manage month-end close activities for an assigned scope, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals, including debits and credits
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- QuickBooks experience required
- Ability to partner effectively with operations, field team, and AP teams to gather information and meet billing and close deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to review and correct one’s own work
- Experience working closely with operations or field teams in a project environment
- Exposure to sales tax and payroll accounting
- Interest in long-term growth into expanded regional responsibility or supervisory roles
